Lou responded to our inquiry promptly and quickly fitted our daughter in to his tutoring sessions after doing a thorough assessment. She thought that he was detailed in explaining the problems that she was stuck on, so she could apply similar concepts well in similar questions later. For us, he always gave thorough feedback after each lesson and any areas she needed to work on. Overall she performed confidently and well for the first attempt at SAT.

I reached out to Lou at the last minute (5 weeks away) for assistance with my son’s second go round of SAT test. He was quick to respond and honest with expectations and outcomes. Throughout our sessions, Mr. Blair was friendly, accommodating, and endlessly knowledgeable. We explored topics my AP class hadn’t even thought to cover in addition to revisiting previous subjects. I found myself genuinely looking forward to his tutoring sessions, and enjoyed his creative analogies and ability to make even the most mundane of facts about a scientist or psychologist seem fascinating. In the short month of tutoring sessions we had together, we reviewed a hundred questions from the multiple choice section on a previous year’s exam and half a dozen essay questions from retired tests. Beyond his endless patience and innate knowledge of psychology, he was genuinely enthusiastic and wanted me to get the best score I could, often going fifteen minutes over our tutoring session to fit in just one more question. His passion for psychology is truly contagious. Come exam day, I felt prepared and confident. Mr. Blair checked in on me after the exam, eager to hear how I had felt throughout the test. We had a great experience working with Lou in our search for college scholarships. It was overwhelming when we first started our search until we got the help from Lou. He invested a lot of time to meet with us, get to know us and search all avenues of scholarship opportunities. He thoroughly explained the process of applying and is still guiding us along the way. Lou was my daughter's SAT tutor for several months. He was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. He had a flexible schedule if need be. My daughter felt very comfortable working one on one with Lou and developed a great student/teacher relationship. He offered helpful tips and advice about her strengths and weaknesses and was always available to answer questions outside of their scheduled session.
