I have been an educator for 30 years. I was fortunate to realize early in my life that I have the ability and passion to help children and adolescents achieve academic success and become lifelong learners.
I graduated from Kutztown University in 1994 with a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with a specialization in Social Studies. After graduation, I was hired by the Exeter Township School District as a seventh grade social studies teacher.
I spent ten wonderful years at Exeter Junior High School. During that time, I also returned to Kutztown University to obtain my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education.
In 2005, I accepted a position at Exeter Township Senior High School teaching Civics and Honors Economics. For the last fifteen years, I have taught Advanced Placement and Honors Psychology and become chairman of the Social Studies Department.
In 2023, I decided to return to the classroom to obtain my doctoral degree in Transformative Teaching and Learning. Although the coursework is challenging, my experiences in the program are already helping me help my students.
During the last 30 years I have privately tutored hundreds of students in a wide variety of subjects, ranging from elementary reading and mathematics to preparation for the SAT exam. Now, I am taking my tutoring services online as the next step in my evolution as a private tutor. Whatever your child’s academic issue is, please let me help. I would love to help your child grow their confidence and achieve academic success in order to become a lifelong learner.
