Throughout our sessions, Mr. Blair was friendly, accommodating, and endlessly knowledgeable. We explored topics my AP class hadn’t even thought to cover in addition to revisiting previous subjects. I found myself genuinely looking forward to his tutoring sessions, and enjoyed his creative analogies and ability to make even the most mundane of facts about a scientist or psychologist seem fascinating. In the short month of tutoring sessions we had together, we reviewed a hundred questions from the multiple choice section on a previous year’s exam and half a dozen essay questions from retired tests.
Beyond his endless patience and innate knowledge of psychology, he was genuinely enthusiastic and wanted me to get the best score I could, often going fifteen minutes over our tutoring session to fit in just one more question. His passion for psychology is truly contagious. Come exam day, I felt prepared and confident. Mr. Blair checked in on me after the exam, eager to hear how I had felt throughout the test. Thanks to his tutoring, I was able to score a 5 on the AP exam. I cannot recommend his services highly enough.
